The Charles-Albert Castle was built at the end of 1800 in the Flemish Neo-Renaissance style by the architect of the same name who originally occupied it. The restoration and transformation work in progress includes: 1000 m3 of manual earthworks and earthworks for the construction of a swimming pool in the cellars, lowering of the general level of the cellars, identical restoration of the roof-façade-frame envelope, insulation from the inside, reconstitution of the courtyard of honour and the ironwork of the fence, special techniques, finishing touches, fine floors, furnishings and equipment.
