The Project

Complete renovation of a listed 800 m2 roof in natural Spanish slate, creation of 7 identical dormer windows, design and installation of 2 slate towers, installation of scaffolding suspended from temporary steel structures weighing 11 tonnes made by us to create the framework of the large tower

The Charles-Albert Castle was built at the end of 1800 in the Flemish Neo-Renaissance style by the architect of the same name who originally occupied it. The restoration and transformation work in progress includes: 1000 m3 of manual earthworks and earthworks for the construction of a swimming pool in the cellars, lowering of the general level of the cellars, identical restoration of the roof-façade-frame envelope, insulation from the inside, reconstitution of the courtyard of honour and the ironwork of the fence, special techniques, finishing touches, fine floors, furnishings and equipment. Delivery planned for 2022
